Maeve Run Times Sewn In Cups Nursing & Pumping Sports Bra (Ribbed Chai)

I was so excited for this bra, however, everytime I wear it one or both the straps slip out out. The strap hook is flimsy and stretches. It would be nice to have the ability to cross them but I'm too afraid to wear the bra out and about as they slip off several times a day. Now the strap hook broke and I won't be able to wear it at all.

Feel and make is good. The support would be phenominal, BUT the metal used to secure the straps is too weak for the bra to be worn during anything with more impact than yoga that doesn't require raising the arms. The knob at the end of the metal catch is also likely too shallow. If that catch held, this would be my favorite nursing sports bra.

I wanted these to work SO badly. It's incredibly hard to find a fixed pad pumping sports bra that fits me and this one fit. It works GREAT for pumping. It's comfortable, it doesn't squeeze me in weird places making weird shapes. The only issues I had were with the seam near one of the clasps being really sharp to the point that it cuts into me. I was sent a replacement and it had the same issue. The other two colors I have do not have this issue, however, the bra strap clasp was bending and ended up breaking on both of them after 1 wear. I am still heart broken over this. I have yet to find another bra that is as comfortable and functional as these, but unfortunately I have had to toss all of them for these issues. The company was super helpful and offered replacements but I don't foresee the replacements being any better, so I was given a refund. If there is ever any evidence that the quality has improved, I would absolutely purchase these again. They have the potential to be the best pumping bra out there.

I will preface this review with the fact that I probably picked the wrong size bra so it doesn’t quite fit me right.

I really wanted to love this bra! I had been searching for a pumping bra with fixed padding and this was one of the only ones I could find! I do like that feature and the slots for the pump flanges are great and hold the pump in place firmly! The materials seem quality overall as well!

My issues more so came with the comfortability of the bra. The seams of the straps and the tag placement were kind of pokey/itchy! Also the pumping layer that holds the flange seemed bigger than the outer layer, so when I had both layers clipped in, the strap bunches a little bit. I also didn’t love that the strap that holds the clips is only a single strap. Many pumping bras have an extended piece of fabric attached to make that strap piece more supportive.

I like this bra in theory, but didn’t love how it felt. I wish I would have returned mine for a different size before wearing it and trying it out. It’s too expensive to justify trying another one.

Edit: Sweat & Milk asked for pictures, so I uploaded some pictures of what I found to be uncomfortable. The tag was right on the side of the bra and was constantly itching me so I cut it off. It was still a little itchy after cutting it but not too bad. Would love if this could be a printed tag directly on the clothing rather than a paper tag.

Also the seams where the strap connects to the two different layers I found to be scratchy. I have circled the two spots just below the clasps. Perhaps the edging of the straps needs to be made of a softer material?

Finally, the strap that is in the inside of the bra, is often in other brands (like Auden or Kindred Bravely) connected to additional fabric and feels more supportive/comfortable. I would love if this were the case for this bra as well. Otherwise with just the single strap and no additional fabric, I feel like that strap moves around and gets more bunched up than if it had extra soft material connected to it.

The material was pretty thick so I ended up returning it. If I were to wear it under anything other than a sweatshirt I feel like the texture would show through.

I want so badly to love this bra, but I can’t. The strap clips bend so easily and already my straps have unhooked multiple times while wearing it. It’s so disappointing how expensive these bras are with straps that continue to unhook. I’m genuinely worried the metal clip will break because it bends so easily and then the bra will be useless to me.

After 1 wear this bra is not wearable because the straps just pop off. I can bend them into shape but they warp and pop off with the smallest amount of twisting. I liked the idea of being able to have the straps in different positions but this does not fit the bill. I have 3 other bras from sweat and milk that I love but this one, unfortunately, just does not work

I love the built in cup, and it fits pretty well, but the clip in straps are a little awkward to adjust. As a sports bra, I want this to be slightly on the tighter side, but as a result the straps will slip out of the slot when I try to put it on and pull the straps up. Everyone knows how hard it is to clip a bra behind you, but I can't wear this with the straps crossed otherwise the clip comes undone.

I wish I read the reviews prior to purchasing; I was all in when I saw the words “sewn In cups.” I love that feature of this bra; however like other reviewers stated, there’s a connector hook on the strap that easily comes undone which is not ideal during strenuous exercise. This bra deserves a redesign that has straps without the connector hooks.

Please make more bras with sewn in cups! I hate the removable ones.

I LOVED this bra, especially with the sewn in pads. The biggest drawback is that the hooks are not strong enough to support the straps and my hook broke in half after wearing for a few weeks.

I love the support these bras provide while also making it easy to pump and nurse seamlessly. However, there have been a few times during a class where my strap has unhooked in the back and I find that very annoying. Also, the metal clasp (the same one that unhooks during a class) has broken on 3 of my bras, so I’ve had to keep ordering them. Not sure I’ll be ordering anymore because of this.

I love everything about this bra- the fit, supports, style, except- the hooks that connect the straps to the band bend with wear & eventually break. If this problem is fixed, I would buy so many!

This bra is so comfortable and I love it! But the straps come undone all the time even just sitting. The metal part warps and has to be squeezed back. I did this until it broke. I reached out a d customer service was wonderful and replaced it! However I am having the same problem with the replacement. Very frustrating for the price of the bra and the quality of the rest of the bra.

I think I’ll have wear this only with the straps crossed because the straps come unhooked while exercising. This is partially because the hooks are not solid/hard but they warp and widen and have to be re-squished. I wish they were not that way because I love the rest of the bra.

Loved the support and sewn in cups! Unfortunately, the cut didn’t work for me. I had way too much side boob - not enough coverage on the side/wings. I tried to size up but the large was overall WAY too big. Hoping they make a design change or another bra with sewn in cups and more side coverage!
