FAQs
What actually makes a top "nursing-friendly," versus just loose or stretchy?
A true nursing top has a built-in access point — a zipper, wrap, or drop-panel — designed for quick, discreet feeding without lifting the entire shirt or fully undressing.
Loose or stretchy fabric alone doesn't guarantee usable access mid-feed.
What's the difference between the hoodies/sweatshirts, long sleeves, and short sleeves in terms of nursing access?
All are built with the same nursing-access principle, just adapted to warmth and season — hoodies and sweatshirts add a layering piece for cooler weather or air-conditioned spaces, long sleeves suit transitional temperatures, and short sleeves are for warm-weather or indoor wear.
Check each product page for the specific access mechanism (zip vs. wrap vs. panel), since it can vary by style.
Can these tops be worn while pregnant, not just postpartum?
Most are designed to transition from pregnancy through postpartum and beyond, since the relaxed, non-restrictive fit works for a changing body in both stages — though nursing access itself is only relevant once you're feeding.
Many moms still wear our tops way after they are done nursing due to the invisible nursing access design.
Are the nursing access points discreet enough to use in public?
Yes — that's the specific design goal. Access points are built to open just enough for feeding without exposing more than necessary, which is the main difference between a genuine nursing top and a top you're simply pulling up or down improvised-style.
Does a nursing top double as a nursing cover?
No — a nursing top is built for easy access (a zipper, wrap, or panel that opens to feed), not concealment. A nursing cover is a separate accessory designed to drape over you and the baby for additional privacy.
Many customers use the two together, but they solve different problems.
Are the hoodies and sweatshirts oversized?
It depends on the style. Isabella and Celine are oversized, built for a relaxed, layered fit. Lyah is stylishly cropped instead, if you'd rather not size up.
Are the tees loose fit or tight fit?
Also style-dependent. Harper and Abigail are loose fit, made for comfortable everyday wear. Mira and Aria (our running tees) are a little more snug by design — sweat-wicking, feather-light, ultra-soft activewear fabric built for movement — but still cut to not show your stomach.
How does the nursing and pumping access actually work on your tops?
Most styles use dual invisible zippers positioned for one-handed access, engineered so the top doesn't read as "nursing wear" from the outside.
